How do you stop caring what people think? That can be especially hard for people-pleasers and “nice girls!”
Caring so much about what others think keeps us always second-guessing ourselves and insecure…wondering if we are making the right choices. We become so focused on trying to please, make others happy, and not upset or anger anyone that eventually, we will lose ourselves!
When we lose the connection we have to ourselves, we become cut off from our intuition, and can no longer trust in ourselves so then we look to others to help us navigate our lives…trusting that they have our best interests a heart.
And often we learn a little too late that they didn’t.
When we trust others above ourselves, ignore what our gut is telling us, and try to be and live the way we think we “should” this creates loneliness, suffering, and pain.
The answer is finding the way back home to yourself and NEVER letting go!
